Job summary

Brooksource seeks an AI Governance Analyst to support enterprise AI governance in a large organization. You will evaluate AI-enabled technologies, identify risks, and ensure alignment with governance, compliance, and security standards.

The role emphasizes translating technical concepts for both technical and non-technical stakeholders and contributing to governance playbooks and methods. Hybrid work with on-site days in Charlotte, NC is offered.

Qualifications

• Experience or working knowledge in AI governance, data governance, or risk/compliance disciplines.
• Exposure to AI-enabled technologies and enterprise risk considerations.
• Ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Experience collaborating with Legal, Compliance, Risk, Cybersecurity or IT teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Curiosity and willingness to learn as AI governance practices evolve.
• Ability to own initiatives and drive them to completion.
• Familiarity with AI governance frameworks (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-enabled applications to understand use, data usage and risks.
• Partner with Legal, Compliance, Cybersecurity, Risk, Architecture, Data, IT and business teams.
• Translate complex AI concepts into clear, practical guidance for stakeholders.
• Translate governance policies into actionable business practices.
• Support development and maturation of AI governance processes and materials.
• Participate in discussions on evolving AI capabilities, including generative AI.
• Assess alignment of AI tech with policies, compliance and governance expectations.
• Work with technical teams to understand data usage and tech implementations.
• Identify opportunities to improve governance as AI evolves.
