Job summary

Gravity IT Resources is seeking a Sr AI Governance Analyst on a contract basis in Charlotte, NC, with a hybrid schedule (3 days on site). The role focuses on governance and policy, vetting AI use cases, and building an enterprise AI governance program rather than a deep technical position.

You’ll partner with cyber, legal, data stewards, and business units to translate policy into actionable guidance, develop a semantic layer or knowledge-graph concepts, and drive risk and compliance across AI

Qualifications

• Experience in data governance and AI governance is essential.
• Ability to translate policy into practical guidance.
• Strong negotiation and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct hands-on vetting of AI use cases, third-party tools, and internal systems for risk and bias.
• Help rewrite and implement the AI policy stack within the governance program.
• Develop requirements for a semantic layer, knowledge graph, or ontology to improve AI outcomes.
• Partner with cyber, legal, and business units to operationalize governance.
• Translate technical findings into actionable guidance for business teams.
