Job summary

Boardwise is seeking an experienced engineering leader to guide a high-performing backend/full-stack team in a remote-first setup. You will drive architectural decisions, mentor engineers, and translate product goals into robust engineering plans while fostering ownership and collaboration across the org.

You will lead by example, remain hands-on, and push AI-first practices to redefine modern software development with Azure, React, and C# technology stacks.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional backend or full-stack development.
• Strong experience with ASP.NET Core.
• Experience with React, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Experience building scalable SaaS products.
• Comfortable working in cloud-native architectures.
• Experience with Azure and Microsoft 365 APIs is a plus.
• Experience with F#, or strong C# skills and motivation to learn functional programming.

• Scope, estimate, and prioritize work together with Product.

• Drive architectural decisions within your team.
• Maintain high engineering standards through reviews and mentoring.
• Improve performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Contribute hands-on to features, refactoring, and production issues.
• Align with other Technical Leads and Product Managers.
• Coordinate dependencies across teams.
• Share knowledge and continuously improve engineering practices.
• Lead by example and remain hands-on.
• AI-driven practices: use AI daily for implementation, reviews, testing, and architecture.
• Coach your team in adopting new AI capabilities.
