Job summary

2K is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to be the senior technical voice across our cross‑platform SDKs. You’ll own architectural decisions for Unreal, Unity, native C++, Go, and JavaScript, ensuring a cohesive API design, versioning, and performance across all targets.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with SDKs, libraries, tools, or platform APIs.
• Fluency in C++ and at least one of C# (Unity), Go, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with Unreal and/or Unity integrations with external libraries.

Responsibilities

• Drive architectural decisions across the SDK portfolio and defend direction across Unreal, Unity, C++, Go, JavaScript, and other targets.
• Ensure architectural consistency across language and engine variants for a coherent developer experience.
• Write production code, prototype hard problems, lead implementations, and review code.
