Job summary

Customer.io is seeking a Senior Fullstack SDK Engineer to join the SDK team. You will build and evolve SDKs across Android, iOS, Node, and Go, while owning end-to-end SDK initiatives and improving delivery pipelines.

You will work with product/design to craft exceptional developer experiences, and leverage AI agents to navigate multi-language codebases efficiently. Strong autonomy and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Expert-level competency in at least one established programming language.
• Experience building production-quality software and understanding how systems fit together.
• Fluency with LLMs and agentic coding tools (e.g., Claude, Cursor, Codex).
• High autonomy in ambiguous environments and clear problem-solving.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to explain tradeoffs.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve Customer.io's SDKs across platforms (Android, iOS, Node, Go).
• Lead SDK initiatives end-to-end: direction, code, release, outcome ownership.
• Improve SDK delivery infra: CI, tests, versioning, publishing, release processes.
• Collaborate with product and design to optimize developer experience.
• Use AI agents to perform multi-file changes across codebases and languages.
• Engage with customers to understand SDK needs and feedback.
