US LBM Holdings, LLC is seeking a Lead Software Engineer (Order-to-Cash) to provide technical leadership while coding alongside engineers building highly available apps, APIs, and integrations across our order-to-cash platform, billing, and financial reconciliation.

This role blends hands-on development with product partnership and business engagement, guiding teams through design, development, deployment, and support while embracing AI-driven discovery and rapid prototyping to demonstrate

Qualifications

5+ years delivering web, mobile, enterprise, or integration solutions.
4+ years of full-stack development experience.
Proven technical leadership through mentoring, code reviews, design guidance, architecture, and delivery ownership.
Strong hands-on experience with React front-end and Node.js back end.
Experience with Python and/or Rust back-end services and PostgreSQL/MongoDB.
Experience integrating financial/AR systems across order-to-cash, billing, credit, cash application, reconciliation.
Experience designing secure RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
Experience with Docker/Kubernetes and CI/CD (GitHub/GitLab CI/Jenkins).
Interest in applying AI to accelerate delivery and prototype AI use cases with product/business partners.
Familiarity with C#/.NET is a plus.

Responsibilities

Own use-case discovery and rapid prototyping with Product Manager, turning ideas into proofs-of-concept.
Drive AI-first software lifecycle across discovery, design, coding, testing, and delivery.
Lead engineering of order-to-cash solutions and integrations across billing, credit, collections, cash application, and reconciliation platforms.
Improve receivables automation and cash flow through automation and AI.
Remain hands-on while providing technical leadership, mentoring, and code reviews.
Design, develop, test, deploy, and support applications, APIs, and integrations.
Partner with Product Managers, Architects, and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
Guide technical design and architecture for scalable, secure, reliable systems.
Drive delivery priorities, manage risks and dependencies, and communicate progress.
Build reusable integration patterns, APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and engineering standards.
Champion AI-assisted development including automated testing and AI code reviews.
Troubleshoot complex production and integration issues while preserving data integrity.
