Job summary

Pearson is building a modern data foundation and AI-enabled platform for K-12 analytics. As Engineering Manager for Data Foundations, you will lead delivery across legacy and modern .NET/React services, coordinate with product, security, and DevOps, and ensure safe, observable, and scalable release of model-backed capabilities.

You will coach engineers, manage performance, and uphold data contracts, quality gates, and cross-team dependencies while protecting continuity for current platform

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications include managing engineers who ship to production and overseeing delivery of AI-enabled capabilities.
Experience with legacy and target platforms and across distributed time zones.
Background in regulated or privacy-sensitive environments is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Lead overall engineering delivery for Data Foundations, including roadmap execution and migration sequencing.
Set expectations for data contracts, quality gates, lineage, observability, and access controls.
Partner with Product, Data Engineering, Security, DevOps, and vendor teams to align delivery priorities.
