Job summary

Prophet is seeking an AI Engineer Intern on the AI Foundry team to build and evolve MAIA, Prophet's multi-agent AI platform, and write production-quality code that ships. This hands-on role sits at the intersection of technical and non-technical work, with guidance from Foundry engineers and exposure to client-facing applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/ML/DS or equivalent.
• Shipped at least one project using an LLM app or agent framework.
• Proficient Python and SQL with Git workflows.
• Experience with REST APIs and FastAPI/Flask.
• Familiarity with containerization and cloud (Docker/AWS/GCP/Azure).

Responsibilities

• Develop and test AI agents against defined specs.
• Support experiments and evaluate agent capabilities.
• Contribute to MAIA and client-facing apps with production-quality code.
• Research retrieval strategies and API integration patterns.
• Track metrics and document findings for leadership.
