Job summary

Postman is seeking an AI Engineer Intern to work with our AI team on large-scale AI and Agentic systems from data pipelines to production deployment. You will own discrete pieces of real systems under mentorship, not shadow work, and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.

You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers, with mentorship from senior engineers, to translate requirements into AI problems and build production-ready components.

Qualifications

• Pursuing BS/MS/PhD in CS/DS with hands-on ML systems experience.
• Solid Python fundamentals; comfortable with code reviews and testing.
• Experience with PyTorch or JAX and data tooling (Pandas, SQL).

Responsibilities

• Translate product requirements into scoped AI problem statements.
• Build inference APIs and integrate AI outputs with backend services.
• Document experiments and surface fairness or privacy concerns.
