Job summary

PowerToFly seeks a Software Engineer II with Anthropic AI experience to design, build, and deliver full-stack software and AI-enabled solutions for client engagements. You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions, integrating Claude for context-aware features and automation.

You will develop microservices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerized workloads, while ensuring production readiness and high-quality code

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience with full-stack development (3+ years from requirements to production deployment).
• 3+ years designing, developing and delivering AI/ML solutions.
• 6 months of hands-on experience with Claude Agent SDK including agent orchestration or tool integration.
• 6 months deploying production solutions using Anthropic Claude models.
• 6 months applying prompt/context engineering to improve AI solutions.
• 3+ years full-stack development using Python/Java/.NET/Go/Node.js and React/Angular/Vue.js.
• 2+ years client-facing development; 2+ years REST/GraphQL APIs.
• Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP; 1 year integrating Claude APIs in commercial apps.
• Bachelor's or equivalent in technical field; ability to travel ~50%.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and maintain scalable full-stack features across front-end and back-end systems.
• Develop and support microservices, APIs, CI/CD pipelines, containerized workloads, and infrastructure as code.
• Integrate Claude AI platforms to deliver context-aware features and tool-calling workflows.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot defects, improve performance, write automated tests, and support production readiness.
