The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation in Seattle seeks an experienced Product Manager for AI-enabled internal tools. You will own a portfolio of executive decision-support and workflow products, develop a product roadmap, connect tools to strategic goals, and translate needs into practical, adopted solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience building or deploying AI-enabled tools in professional settings, with hands-on familiarity with LLMs, prompt engineering, data infra, RAG, and evaluation.
• Significant experience partnering with technical teams to translate non-technical business needs into scalable products.
• Significant experience owning the full lifecycle of internal tools or operational products, from prioritizing use cases to driving adoption.
• Experience navigating responsible AI, data privacy, security, and enterprise governance considerations in product decisions.
• Experience designing and maintaining operational templates, process documentation, and shared systems across a complex organization.

• Identify needs for AI-enabled tools to support executive decision making; partner with Data & AI Infrastructure teams.
• Address OOP business needs like project management and pipeline tracking; prototype and test usability.
• Translate division strategy into templates, shared systems, and process documentation.
• Prioritize projects, determine sequencing, and ensure follow-through with leadership.
• Drive adoption by providing user guidance, onboarding, and collecting feedback across roles.
• Develop scalable, durable AI tooling with a focus on governance and security.
