Job summary

Carnegie Mellon University’s Computing Services seeks an AI Enablement Associate to help faculty, staff, and campus partners effectively use university-supported AI tools. You will provide hands-on support, develop documentation, coordinate training, and help scale AI enablement across the university.

You'll work with AI Enablement Consultants and senior colleagues to respond to inquiries, create user-friendly guides, and support workshops and events.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in IS/Analytics/Comms/EdTech or related field preferred.
  • Experience in higher education or large decentralized organizations preferred.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent documentation, training materials, and communications skills.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to support requests, clarify user needs, resolve issues, document trends, and escalate complex requests.
  • Support workshops, webinars, onboarding sessions, and other programs; coordinate materials, logistics, notes, and follow-ups.
  • Create and maintain user-facing resources: how-to guides, FAQs, knowledge base, training materials, and use-case libraries.
  • Identify common support trends, suggest improvements to docs and training, scale processes across the university.
