Job summary

Carnegie Mellon University is seeking an AI Enablement Associate in Pittsburgh to help faculty, staff, and campus partners effectively use university-supported AI tools. You’ll respond to inquiries, develop and maintain documentation, coordinate training, and help scale enablement across the university.

Working with AI Enablement Consultants, you’ll build expertise in AI enablement, user support, and program delivery, with opportunities to grow into advanced AI consulting roles.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical support, business analysis, educational technology, or program coordination.
• Ability to translate complex concepts to non-technical audiences and create user-friendly documentation.
• Experience developing user-facing documentation, knowledge base content, training materials, or communications is preferred.
• Higher education, enterprise technology, or large decentralized organizations experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond to user inquiries and resolve issues within the team’s scope.
• Coordinate and support workshops, webinars, onboarding sessions, and events.
• Create and maintain how-to guides, FAQs, knowledge base articles, and sample prompts.
• Identify patterns in user feedback and contribute to scalable processes to improve user experience.
