Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in CS/IT/Data Science or equivalent; bachelor’s preferred.
• 3–5+ years in IT, software development, data, or related roles.
• 2–3 years with AI/ML models, APIs, prompt engineering, automation platforms.
• 2–3 years deploying AI solutions in higher education or public-sector environments.
• 2–3 years cloud experience (Azure, AWS or Google Cloud).
• 2–3 years integrating systems via REST APIs or middleware tools.
• Knowledge of data visualization and analytics tools.
• 2–3 years agile development methodologies and version control.
• Knowledge of data security, privacy frameworks, responsible AI practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration in multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in AI strategy planning and ethics guidelines development.
• Design, develop, and deploy AI prototypes and proofs-of-concept.
• Build AI integrations with College systems (LMS, CRM, ERP).
• Ensure AI solutions comply with FERPA, accessibility, and policy.
• Provide training and support for AI tools to faculty and staff.
• Collaborate across campus to ensure successful pilots and production handoffs.
• Create technical documentation and stay current on AI platforms.
• Foster innovation and ethical AI practices across the college.
• Represent AI initiatives in committees and campus communications.
