Job summary

Cengage Group is seeking a Program Manager, AI Enablement, to direct the management of AI initiatives and ensure smooth delivery across operations. You will promote AI adoption while maintaining governance and collaboration across Legal, Privacy, Security, Procurement, Product, Engineering, and Operations.

The role requires 5+ years in program management or cross-functional delivery, a strong grasp of privacy regulations, and proven ability to manage enterprise initiatives with rigor and clarity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in related field.
• 5+ years in program management, operations, governance, or cross-functional delivery.
• Experience managing enterprise programs or cross-functional initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Direct the management of enterprise AI initiatives and governance.
• Coordinate vendor risk assessments for AI tools, platforms, and integrations.
• Manage third-party AI intake including security, privacy, and contracts.
• Maintain criteria for AI vendor approvals and connectors decisions.
• Collaborate with Procurement on AI contracts, DPAs, MSAs, and terms.
• Maintain approved AI vendor list and reassessment cadence.
• Create governance artifacts: intake workflows, logs, status reports, updates.
• Coordinate with Legal, Privacy, Security, Procurement, Product, Engineering, and Operations teams.
• Track achievements, risks, and readiness across AI initiatives.
• Support onboarding, documentation, and process standardization for AI enablement.
