Job summary

SOPHiA GENETICS is seeking an Enablement Engineer / Deployed Engineer in Boston (Hybrid, 3x/week in office) to embed AI capabilities and build internal products across the organization. You will partner with engineering and product teams to ship AI-powered workflows and internal tooling that accelerate decision-making and operations.

The role requires strong hands-on coding skills, a background in senior engineering or product leadership at a top tech company, and experience deploying AI

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with a senior engineer or product manager background from a top tech company building complex products.
• Direct working experience of building deployed AI functionality or AI enablement within an organisation.
• Strong hands-on building skills; you ship working software, not just diagrams, with AI fluency (LLMs, automation, modern AI tooling).
• Dialed into modern engineering and product practices.
• Confident operator who can diagnose issues across functions and drive change.
• Strong change management instincts to make new ways of working stick.
• Comfortable moving between strategy discussions and shipping code in the same week.

Responsibilities

• Build internal products and automations, embedding AI capabilities across the company.
• Partner with engineering and product leads on team structure, roadmaps, and delivery practices (SCRUM, reviews, retros).
• Own tech reporting and monitoring, continuously improving internal visibility.
• Provide hands-on delivery support when needed to ship tooling across functions.
• Help drive cross-functional alignment across sales, R&D, and other teams.
