Boston Consulting Group is hiring a Forward Deployed AI Engineer to build the next generation of AI solutions, partnering with clients across industries to design, build, and deploy AI-powered capabilities.

The role requires a strong foundation in AI/GenAI, data engineering or full-stack development, and a track record of leading teams and delivering commercial impact. Expect client-facing engagements, leadership responsibilities, and a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in engineering or related field with enterprise AI experience.
• Experience deploying AI/GenAI solutions at scale, including agentic AI systems.
• Experience with LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, open-source).
• Proficient in Python and full-stack development (React/JS/TS) with CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Frame new AI challenges and design innovative algorithms.
• Develop and deliver thought leadership and lead conferences for BCG X.
• Lead client engagements and guide non-technical teams.
• Manage teams of AI scientists, engineers, designers, and drive project outcomes.
• Shape the strategy of BCG X and collaborate with partners to influence growth.
