Job summary

CivicPlus is seeking an AI Enablement Engineer to turn AI into practical, secure, and scalable solutions that boost productivity and decision-making. You will partner with Professional Services and Tech Support to identify opportunities, build AI-powered tools, and drive adoption within governance standards.

You will design AI-enabled workflows, integrate AI services with internal systems, and help establish best practices for responsible use.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent work experience.
• 5–8 years in software/automation/ML/solutions engineering or similar role.
• Experience building or supporting AI-enabled workflows and integrations.
• Proficiency in Python or JavaScript.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain AI-enabled tools and workflows.
• Identify high-value AI enablement use cases across product, operations, support.
• Develop API integrations between AI services and internal systems.
• Translate business problems into scalable AI solutions with data pipelines.
• Establish best practices for responsible AI usage (security, privacy, testing).
• Collaborate with data teams to ensure reliable data access.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and reusable patterns.
• Provide guidance and enablement to internal teams adopting AI.
• Participate in an Agile team and contribute to delivery standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
