Job summary

Checkr is seeking a Staff AI Solutions Engineer to drive AI enablement across the company. You will embed with internal teams to understand workflows, configure AI tools, and build bespoke AI-powered solutions using LLMs and RAG architectures.

You will run office hours and hackathons, create reusable resources, and templatize workflows for scale. The role requires 5+ years in engineering or enablement, 3+ years building AI-centric products, and strong Python skills with cloud experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent; graduate degree a plus.
• 5+ years in engineering, solutions engineering, or enablement roles delivering measurable productivity gains.
• 3+ years building AI-centric products including ML, generative AI, LLMs, and prompt engineering.
• Proficiency in Python and experience integrating LLM models into applications; familiarity with cloud hosting platforms.
• Ability to lead enablement programs including office hours, hackathons, and scalable documentation.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements from multiple teams and translate into technical AI solutions.
• Lead AI office hours and company-wide hackathons to foster experimentation.
• Evaluate and configure AI tools; stay updated on the AI tooling landscape.
• Design, develop, and deploy bespoke AI solutions for cross-team use cases.
• Create reusable resources: playbooks, prompt libraries, workflow templates, guides.
• Templatize AI workflows for consistency and scale across teams.
• Lead training sessions and workshops to raise AI fluency across the organization.
• Collaborate with Engineers, Security, Data Eng, and other teams to ensure safe, scalable deployments.
• Contribute to AI strategy and roadmap aligned with business priorities.
