Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
• 5–8 years of experience in software/automation/data/ML engineering roles.
• Experience building AI-enabled workflows, automations, or integrations.
• Proficiency in Python or JavaScript.
• Experience with APIs and data formats.
• Familiarity with modern AI/ML concepts and model/service integration.
• Experience with cloud platforms and developer tooling.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain AI-enabled tools, workflows, and automations to improve team efficiency and outcomes.
• Identify high-value AI enablement use cases across product, operations, support, and internal functions.
• Develop integrations between AI services, internal systems, and third-party platforms using APIs and scripting.
• Translate business problems into scalable technical solutions including prompts and data pipelines.
• Establish best practices for responsible AI usage, security, privacy, testing and monitoring.
• Evaluate and recommend AI tools and models aligned with CivicPlus needs and architecture.
• Collaborate with engineering and data teams to ensure reliable data access and infrastructure.
• Create and maintain documentation, standards, and reusable patterns for AI adoption.
