Job summary

Florida Blue, through GuideWell's Transformation Office, seeks a Senior Director of AI Enablement to own the enterprise AI and automation capability. You will shape strategy, build enablement training, and lead both AIM and Automate functions, partnering with executive leaders to drive adoption and measurable value across the business.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ related work experience in AI/automation at enterprise scale.
• Experience owning the full lifecycle of AI initiatives—from strategy and business case through delivery, governance, adoption, and realized value.
• 5+ years’ direct supervisory/management experience.
• Experience building or scaling an AI portfolio with prioritization and ROI methodology.
• People leadership—hiring and developing a technical/analytical team.

Responsibilities

• Lead Automation Delivery: redesign operating models and create repeatable mechanisms to move opportunities from concept through pilot, adoption, and scale.
• Lead AI Enablement & Intake: run AI use-case intake, prioritization, and enablement programs across the business.
• Establish Governance: create durable processes for evaluating AI opportunities with value measures and stage gates.
• Represent AI enablement in governance forums and build leadership bench strength for AIM and Automate teams.
• Collaborate with senior leaders to align AI investments with enterprise strategy and priorities.
