Job summary

United Community Banks Inc. seeks an AI Development and Enablement Analyst to design, build, test, publish, and maintain approved AI agents and automation across the bank.

You translate business needs into governed AI solutions, improving efficiency and access to internal knowledge with safety and controls. You will partner with Technology, Information Security, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Audit, Model Risk Management, and business units to ensure AI solutions meet standards and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, data analytics or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years in technology or related roles.
• Experience building, configuring, testing, or supporting AI agents.
• Experience with enterprise platforms listed (Microsoft 365, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, SharePoint, Teams, ServiceNow, Wrike, GitHub, Jira).
• Banking, financial services, risk management, compliance, audit experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, configure, test, publish, and support approved AI agents using Bank-approved platforms.
• Partner with business units to evaluate AI use case requests and define scope and outputs.
• Develop and maintain agent instructions, prompts, knowledge sources, and escalation procedures.
• Perform structured testing of AI agents before release, including grounding, boundary, and hallucination checks.
• Review and maintain AI agents developed by others to ensure alignment with standards and lifecycle requirements.
• Maintain enterprise inventory of AI use cases, tools, published agents, owners, and compliance artifacts.
• Coordinate with governance and risk committees to support review and approval processes.
• Monitor usage and performance of published agents and address issues and improvements.
• Create documentation for each published agent, including purpose, data sources, and change history.
• Develop metrics, dashboards, and reporting on AI use cases, adoption, and maturity progress.
