Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to optimize orderability and product configuration across ERP/PLM platforms. You will translate business needs into precise technical specs, streamline BOMs, and ensure defect‑free orderability while leveraging AI tools to accelerate documentation and testing.

You will collaborate with Product Owners, Sales, Engineering, and Operations to reduce complexity and improve processes in a fast-paced, global environment.

Qualifications

• Translate business needs into detailed technical specifications for ordering platforms.
• Model end-to-end business processes for ERP and PLM systems.
• Lead SKU rationalization and BOM simplification to reduce complexity.
• Use AI tools (Google Gemini/ChatGPT) to draft requirements and tests.
• Experience with ERP environments and BOM knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Gather cross-functional requirements with PSO, Business Operations, Service Orderability, and IT.
• Design, build, and test AI agents within strict business rules and guardrails.
• Bridge between business stakeholders and the AI engineering team for end-to-end implementation.
• Design and execute end-to-end test plans for BOMs and configuration rules.
• Verify configuration accuracy with manufacturing and factory systems to prevent errors.
• Support Agile backlog management with user stories and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with IT, Supply Chain, and Services on global projects.
