Volke-USA is seeking an AI & Emerging Technology Researcher to accelerate IT innovation, design prototypes, and build ML-enabled solutions across business units. The role requires deep software engineering and analytics expertise to turn emerging technologies into tangible products and improvements.

The position focuses on prototype development, data-driven decision making, and collaboration with multiple teams to translate research into scalable IT offerings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in computer science, engineering, science, mathematics/statistics or related field (preferred advanced degree).
• 5+ years in IT/software engineering with machine learning development.
• 5+ years knowledge of Python, C++, or C#.
• 5+ years experience in problem solving for IT product development.
• 3+ years knowledge of various ML techniques and their real-world advantages/drawbacks.
• 3+ years knowledge of software engineering and architecture.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business-critical data and identify improvements and opportunities.
• Perform advanced analytics on complex data and optimization problems.
• Assess data sources and data gathering techniques for accuracy.
• Collaborate with business units to translate data into business solutions.
• Lead prototyping and transition to industrialization with internal/external teams.
• Develop custom data models and algorithms.
• Coordinate with teams to implement solutions.
• Act as internal consultant to developers/engineers in development lifecycle.
• Advise on emerging IT technologies and support development/process matters.
• Maintain documentation across areas of responsibility.
