Job summary

Vector Solutions is seeking an experienced R&D Engineer to join our AI-enabled platform. You will build, test, and refine AI-powered features within Vector's SaaS products, working under senior engineers to execute hands-on tasks.

The role emphasizes practical coding, model integration, and collaboration with QA, data teams, and leadership, with opportunities to contribute to model workflows and internal documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Hands-on AI/ML projects with OpenAI, Hugging Face, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• Ability to translate requirements into tested, working code.
• Strong testing, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Build, test, and refine AI features for Vector's SaaS products, under senior engineers.
• Write, debug, and maintain code integrating AI/ML APIs into workflows.
• Assist data preparation and model evaluation tasks as directed.
• Run experiments, document results, and summarize findings for review.
• Collaborate with QA to validate AI-driven features before release.
• Contribute to internal AI workflow documentation and guidelines.
• Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback from leads.
• Stay current on emerging AI tools and techniques relevant to projects.
