Job summary

Rollins College is seeking an AI Technologist to help integrate AI into teaching and operations. The role collaborates with faculty to embed AI in various modalities, supports LMS and other tools, and builds a resource library for training and deployment.

Candidate will promote accessibility, ethical AI use, and stay current with AI trends, while managing licenses and coordinating with IT colleagues. Frontline duties include producing workshops and pilot testing new tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
• Experience using AI tools and supporting their adoption across an organization.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Faculty to integrate educational technologies and AI tools into modalities including face-to-face, blended, and hyflex.
• Develop AI use cases, create workshops and trainings to build AI fluency for faculty, staff, and students.
• Develop and maintain a library of resources (tutorials, guides, videos) for AI tools and instructional technologies.
• Provide ongoing technical support for the college’s LMS (Canvas) and tools like Kaltura, WordPress, Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Promote accessibility, UDL, and ethical AI use in teaching and learning; pilot emerging AI tools and evaluate applications.
• Manage AI tool licenses, provisioning access, tracking renewals, and maintaining usage records.
• Lead and participate in projects, coordinating with the instructional technology team and IT department.
