Job summary

AXA XL is seeking a Technical Expert to serve as a trusted SME and partner in underwriting operations. You will drive process optimization, standardize practices, and enable data-driven improvements across global programs.

You will champion AI and automation, collaborate across teams, and report to the Head of Underwriting Operations in a hybrid role. This position requires working in the US market with a strong focus on operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience as SME guiding peers and stakeholders.
• Ability to lead program operations across global programs.
• Proven ability to optimize workflows and ensure data accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Primary Technical Expert (SME): Provide expertise, training, and guidance across the Insurance organization.
• Manage Program Operations: Act as the primary Underwriting Operations contact for assigned global programs.
• Drive Workflow Optimization: Analyze, create, and implement workflow improvements for efficiency and data accuracy.
• Standardize Practices & Tools: Support standardization of policies and create tools to improve underwriting efficiency.
• Problem Solve & Remove Barriers: Identify operational barriers and develop solutions.
• Lead in Utilizing AI and Automation: Champion AI/automation in complex processes to enhance efficiency and interactions.
