Job summary

Waterstone Human Capital is seeking a leader to drive the development of technical products and AI-enabled workflows in Salt Lake City. You will manage cross-functional initiatives, translating founder vision into actionable plans and coordinating with software, data, and external partners.

You will guide multi-stream delivery, mitigate risks early, and ensure accountability through delivery. This role emphasizes strong leadership and ownership in a startup-like environment with local on-site

Qualifications

Led technical products, programs, or implementations from ambiguity to delivery.
Strong fluency across software, data, integrations, and AI-enabled workflows.
Able to translate between visionary founder, business stakeholders, and technical specialists.
Excellent project leadership, prioritization, problem-solving, and follow-through.
Practical experience using AI tools in day-to-day work.
Comfort with changing priorities and limited structure.

Responsibilities

Translate the founder’s vision and business requirements into clear specifications, milestones, owners, and timelines.
Coordinate technical initiatives across software, AI, data, integrations, connected products, and external partners.
Keep multiple workstreams aligned, identify dependencies, and address risks or delays early.
Ensure contributors understand what needs to be delivered and remain accountable through completion.
Work logically through technical issues and bring in the right expertise when needed.
Use AI tools, agents, and automations to improve planning, documentation, communication, and execution.
Provide leadership with clear, candid updates on progress, challenges, and next steps.
