Job summary

Legence is seeking a Technical Delivery Manager who will lead a team of engineers while actively contributing code in AI‑driven software and enterprise system integrations. You will design solutions, review PRs, and ship features, balancing hands‑on work with leadership and stakeholder collaboration.

You will translate business goals into practical solutions, communicate risks clearly, and maintain high standards for code quality, testing, and delivery in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years building software, including recent hands-on coding.
• Strong command of at least one modern language (e.g., Python, C#, TS/JS, Java).
• Demonstrated AI-driven software development experience.
• Solid experience with enterprise systems and integration patterns (ERP/CRM, APIs, identity, cloud).
• Track record of delivering enterprise software while remaining hands-on.
• Experience leading and growing an engineering team; mentoring and direction-setting.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement solutions hands-on: services, integrations, automation, and prototypes.
• Own technical decisions: architecture, build-vs-buy, tooling, integration approach.
• Set technical bar through code reviews, pairing, and mentorship.
• Lead AI-driven development and integrate AI tools into products and internal tools.
• Ensure solutions integrate with ERP/CRM, identity, data platforms, cloud infra; ensure security and scalability.
• Engage stakeholders: translate goals into prototypes; communicate progress and risks.
