Job summary

Legence is seeking a Technical Delivery Manager who leads by building. You’ll code in the stack, review PRs, and ship production features while guiding a team of engineers and serving as the technical voice for stakeholders.

You’ll present solutions to executives and implement complex integrations, with deep AI-driven development experience and enterprise system expertise. This role offers remote work options and full-time employment.

Qualifications

7+ years building software with hands-on coding, technical leadership, and delivery responsibility.
Strong command of modern languages and ability to design, build, debug, and ship production systems.
Demonstrated AI-driven software development, AI tooling, and LLM API integration.
Experience with ERP/CRM, REST/event APIs, identity, cloud platforms, and data pipelines.
Proven track record delivering enterprise software while mentoring engineers.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
Fluent in modern engineering practices: CI/CD, testing, and iterative delivery.

Responsibilities

Build and ship hands-on solutions: services, integrations, automation, prototypes; write production code.
Own technical decisions: architecture, build-vs-buy, tooling, integration approach.
Set technical bar through code reviews, pairing, and mentoring engineers.
Lead AI-driven development with AI tools and LLM APIs in products and tools.
Ensure solutions integrate with ERP/CRM, identity, data platforms, and cloud infra.
Lead and grow the engineering team; hire, onboard, mentor, and set direction.
Engage stakeholders; translate goals into working prototypes and demos.
Drive end-to-end delivery with lean processes and clear milestones.
