Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in Columbus seeks a Tech Risk & Controls Lead to identify and mitigate technology risks within Employee Platforms, Data Platforms and AI, ensuring controls operate effectively and in compliance with regulatory standards.

You will partner with Product Owners, Auditors, and Regulators to drive governance, reporting, and continuous improvement, promoting AI-assisted risk testing and a strong control culture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in technology risk management, cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to support risk/workflows with validation habits.
• Ability to review and validate AI-assisted risk summaries and recommendations.
• Familiarity with risk management frameworks and financial/regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to influence executive-level decisions with technology insights.

Responsibilities

• Identify and manage technology risk with root-cause analysis and clear remediation recommendations.
• Use AI capabilities to accelerate risk evidence synthesis and draft exec-ready reports.
• Build partnerships with technologists, assessment teams, and data officers for cross-functional progress.
• Report and govern controls, policies, issues, and measurements for senior management insights.
• Monitor control effectiveness and advocate improvements to strengthen compliance posture.
• Translate goals into actionable plans and ensure timely execution.
• Assess operational and regulatory risks and propose control enhancements.
• Maintain a control inventory mapped to data risks.
• Promote AI-assisted, reuse-first control testing with auditable processes.
