Job summary

Bloomerang is hiring a Senior Software Engineer (Technical Lead) to own technical outcomes, drive architecture, and mentor the team. You’ll work on AI-enabled software for nonprofit customers, shaping engineering practice and implementing high-quality solutions in a remote US environment.

You will partner with Product, QA, and Engineering to deliver impactful features, improve observability, and accelerate delivery while maintaining product health and security.

Qualifications

• Hands-on production software development experience.
• Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript across stack (Node.js, Express, React).
• Strong PostgreSQL, REST API, asynchronous programming, testing, and observability.

Responsibilities

• Own the team's technical outcomes with a focus on quality, reliability, and security.
• Lead technical direction and design within your domain for features end-to-end.
• Mentor engineers and raise the team’s engineering standards.
