Job summary

Bloomerang is seeking a Sr. Data Engineer to build the data foundation for the Bloomerang Giving Platform, including BI dashboards, in-product reports, ML models, and AI agents.

You will work on a Databricks lakehouse that unifies CRM, Fundraising, and Volunteer data, providing a single trusted source of truth for thousands of nonprofits. This is a hands-on role partnering with data architects, AI/ML engineers, and platform teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building production data pipelines on a modern lakehouse or warehouse.
• Identity resolution experience across systems (dedupe/merge)
• Strong SQL and Python (or Scala); PySpark a plus.
• Data Vault 2.0 or dimensional modeling knowledge.
• Production-grade pipelines with monitoring and alerting.
• Experience with streaming/CDC concepts and near real-time data.

Responsibilities

• Design and ship production pipelines on Databricks using a medallion architecture.
• Build and harden the curated and presentation layers for analytics.
