Job summary

Gusto is seeking a Talent Development leader to design and deploy an enterprise capability framework across individual contributor and leadership tracks. You will manage the full lifecycle of learning solutions—from discovery and MVP prototyping to shipping, scaling, and maintaining high-impact products—defining taxonomy and governance for modular content.

You will collaborate with HR partners, executives, and technology teams to embed capability data into scalable, AI-forward learning

Qualifications

• Typically 8+ years of progressive experience in Talent Development, Learning Architecture, Technical Instructional Design, or Organizational Design.
• Able to establish vision, guide policy development, and architect agile solutions in changing business landscapes.
• Strong cross-functional judgment and ability to partner with HR leaders to translate data into priorities.

Responsibilities

• Define the product roadmap for the capability framework and evolve it as a live product.
• Partner with content designers to create and ship blended learning experiences.
• Set the vision for core enablement programs using a hub-and-spoke model.
• Own the architectural design for modular content and governance.
• Analyze skill data with HR partners to align investments with goals.
• Draft functional requirements for capability engine with People Technology teams.
• Diagnose capability needs with executives and translate into training guidance.
