Gusto is seeking a highly technical, customer-facing engineer to own end-to-end opportunities from discovery to production-ready agents. You will scope complex compliance challenges, build proofs-of-concept, and embed with clients to deploy multi-agent solutions that reduce hours and deflect tickets.

You will work with Sales, Product, and Engineering to craft feasible, scalable deployments, and communicate clearly with both engineers and executives.

Competenze

• 5+ years in a customer-facing technical role such as Forward Deployed Engineer, Solutions Engineer, AI Engineer, Implementation Engineer, Solutions Architect, Technical Consultant, or similar.

Mansioni

• Scope & Qualify: provide a technical feasibility read early in opportunities and own scoping of compliance.
• Define the Problem: gather requirements for Sales, Product, and Engineering alignment.
• Prove It First: build a working proof-of-concept when feasibility is needed before full build.
• Make the Business Case: translate deployments into the subscription business case—hours saved, risk reduced, compliance simplified.
• Own the Build: embed with clients and code the solution, ensuring production-grade delivery.
• Clear the Blockers: diagnose data issues and jurisdiction mapping to enable production.
• Bridge the Gap: keep technical and business stakeholders aligned during engagement changes.
• Own the Handoff: deliver build and runbook for Client Success to run post-go-live.
• Close the Loop: feed insights back into product and GTM strategy, addressing gaps.
• Create Implementation Playbooks: patterns, demos, and deployment docs for faster future deployments.
