Job summary

The Hartford is seeking a Solution Architect to drive transformation of the Employee Benefits technology ecosystem, modernizing legacy platforms and enabling cloud adoption. You will design end-to-end solutions spanning APIs, microservices, SPAs, and AI-enabled components, partner with senior leaders, and ensure security and reliability while aligning with enterprise strategy.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years in solution or application architecture within a large enterprise.
• Hands-on with cloud-native solutions (AWS/GCP) and API/integration patterns.
• Experience applying GenAI/ML to production use cases and SPAs.

Responsibilities

• Establish end-to-end solution designs aligned to reference architectures and IT strategy.
• Translate strategy into APIs, microservices, SPAs, AI integration, and cloud infra.
• Ensure security, reliability, and cost management; governance alignment.
• Collaborate with value streams on roadmaps and program increments.
