CVS Health seeks a Principal Software Development Engineer to lead architecture across cloud, data, and AI-driven healthcare platforms. You will collaborate with product, engineering, and platform teams to deliver scalable, secure, and innovative digital health experiences for hundreds of millions of consumers.

You will guide strategic technical initiatives, mentor engineers, and ensure alignment with enterprise standards while driving agile delivery across value streams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Software Industry experience.
• 7+ years of experience leading enterprise-scale solution design and technical architecture initiatives.
• 7+ years with Java, Python, Node.js, Angular, and ReactJS.
• 7+ years of experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• 7+ years designing cloud-native, microservices-based solutions on GCP.
• 5+ years designing modern APIs and RESTful services.
• 5+ years of experience with micro-services architecture and RESTful APIs.
• 5+ years of experience with requirements analysis, estimation, and design/testing.
• 5+ years of demonstrated communication and presentation skills.
• 4+ years managing technical, customer-facing applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance on implementation of reference architecture solutions.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and develop architectural recommendations.
• Develop well-engineered, flexible, and maintainable solutions delivered on schedule.
• Author technical documentation and guidelines for internal developers.
• Collaborate with product, platform, and DevOps teams across levels and functions.
• Champion user-centric product development with privacy and security embedded.
