Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is seeking a Software Development Engineer to design, develop, and deliver software solutions accelerating AI-powered modernization and cloud adoption across CVS Health applications. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years hands-on software development experience across enterprise environments.
• Experience with AI, Agentic AI, ML, or intelligent automation including LLMs, RAG concepts.
• 3+ years of proficiency with SQL, DB2, UNIX/Linux in large-scale environments.
• 3+ years of working knowledge of cloud platforms, Windows AD, networking, batch scheduling, and high-volume data processing.
• Experience with application production support, incident management, and troubleshooting enterprise systems.
• Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools and IT operations processes.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality application enhancements and platform upgrades.
• Design, develop, test, and implement AI-driven solutions enhancing business processes.
• Provide production support, monitor data workflows, and assist in deployments.
• Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to system stability and performance.
• Work across legacy IBM i (AS400) and modern cloud-based solutions and integration technologies.
