U.S. Bank is seeking an experienced software engineer to analyze, design, test, develop, and maintain AI-driven software experiences across enterprise systems.

The role focuses on building scalable APIs, microservices, and cloud-native apps, with responsibility for AI-powered integrations and RAG solutions. You will collaborate with product, engineering, data, and AI teams in an agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience.
• Three to five years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support scalable software solutions enabling CorePointAI capabilities.
• Build and maintain APIs, microservices, and cloud-native applications utilizing modern software engineering practices.
• Develop integrations that support AI-powered, data-driven applications and enterprise automation initiatives.
• Design and implement Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions, including document ingestion, embeddings, vector search, and prompt engineering.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, Data, and AI teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Participate in architecture reviews, technical design discussions, code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.
• Drive adoption of DevOps, CI/CD, automated testing, monitoring, and operational excellence practices across the engineering lifecycle.
• Ensure solutions meet enterprise standards for security, scalability, performance, reliability, and responsible AI governance.
