Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a software engineer to design, implement, and maintain AI-enabled software systems. You will work in an Agile environment to deliver Python-based APIs, microservices, and cloud-native applications, leveraging Generative AI, LangChain, and RAG techniques.

The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring scalable, secure deployments on Azure and AWS, and contributing to CI/CD, testing, containerization, and technical documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 2-3 years of software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Python development and REST APIs.
• Experience with Generative AI concepts and orchestration frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Generative AI solutions using LLMs, Prompt Engineering, and RAG.
• Build AI-powered workflows with LangChain, LangGraph, and Foundry Agent Services.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable software in an Agile environment.
• Develop and support Python-based APIs, microservices, and cloud-native apps.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and business partners for AI-enabled solutions.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize production application performance.
• Support deployment across Azure and AWS while meeting security standards.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, containerization, code reviews, and documentation.
