Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking an experienced software engineer to design, develop, and operationalize enterprise architecture operations and technology intelligence capabilities.

You will partner with architecture and technology stakeholders to streamline IT processes and enable capabilities that drive strategy and efficient operations. The ideal candidate blends hands-on Python and microservices experience with data modeling, ETL, and cloud tooling (AWS/Azure), plus automation expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Six to eight years of relevant experience.
• Hands-on experience with AI technologies (Claude Code, Generative AI, LLMs) and modern programming languages.
• Experience with Cloud Platforms (Azure and AWS).

Responsibilities

• Redesign architecture operational processes and build automations using AI and code.
• Design enterprise meta model graph as a digital twin of IT operations.
• Develop scalable applications using Python and microservices.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines with automated testing and deployment.
• Drive design decisions for large-scale IT operations solutions.
