Job summary

U.S. Bank seeks an experienced software engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable AI-enabled software solutions. You will build RESTful APIs and microservices on cloud-native platforms, leveraging Azure OpenAI and AI tooling to deliver data-driven applications.

You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data, and AI teams to translate business needs into technical designs, participate in architecture reviews, and drive CI/CD modernization across the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Java or Python for enterprise apps.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Cloud experience with Microsoft Azure and AI services.
• Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, IaC, and automated testing.
• familiarity with LLMs, AI governance, and enterprise AI patterns.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support scalable software solutions across the enterprise.
• Build and maintain APIs, microservices, and cloud-native apps.
• Develop AI-powered integrations and RAG architectures.
