SSOE Group is seeking a senior Designer/Engineer to engage with integrated delivery across architectural, structural, MEP, process, civil, and automation disciplines on industrial and complex commercial projects worldwide.

You’ll work in a mentorship-rich environment focused on technical excellence, innovation, and cross-discipline collaboration, with access to advanced BIM and AI tools and a clear path for career advancement.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent postsecondary training in engineering or architecture preferred.
• Minimum 15 years with SSOE as a Designer or 19 years with former employers.
• Experience with BIM collaboration and review platforms (ACC/BIM360, Bluebeam, Navisworks).
• Experience on industrial and manufacturing building projects mandatory.
• Experience on data center and/or pharmaceutical projects preferred.

Responsabilités

• Interpret, organize, execute and coordinate medium assignments with budget adherence and quality control.
• Make design decisions independently; may receive input on unusual or complex problems.
• Produce finished plans and specifications and evaluate major items for quality and field results.
• Complete work on major engineering/architectural projects or total design on smaller/moderate projects.
• Serve as a job captain on single or multi-discipline projects.
• Prepare or review construction budgets based on experience and scope.
• Write scope of work for design based on preliminary review and meetings with the customer.
• May perform project management functions.
• May assign and review work of the design team and monitor progress.
• Devise new approaches to problems and communicate them to the team.
• Represent the firm in meetings to plan and coordinate a project.
• Prepare total design and construction cost estimates.
• Travel required; valid driver's license required.
