Job summary

Cogent Security is seeking an experienced product marketer to shape messaging for cybersecurity products and capabilities. You’ll craft compelling content, battlecards, and enablement assets to win enterprise deals, collaborating with sales and product teams.

You will own launches end-to-end, tailor messaging for partners and media, and leverage AI to accelerate draft workflows while preserving accuracy and credibility.

Qualifications

• 4–7+ years in B2B product marketing with cybersecurity domain expertise.
• Excellent writing: clear, credible for security practitioners.
• Strong verbal communication; present well to sales, product, and customers.
• High output, initiative; fast, responsive, self-directed.
• High personal standards; “good” isn’t enough.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine positioning for new products and capabilities within Cogent's core narrative.
• Tailor Cogent story for audiences such as partners and media; write product and solution pages, datasheets, blog posts, and whitepapers.
• Drive tier 1 launches end to end: readiness, alignment, messaging, web updates, enablement; cadence for tier 2/3 capabilities.
• Run the competitive program day to day: track vendors, source insights, keep battlecards current and field-ready; enable sales with market understanding.
• Build and maintain solution briefs, one-pagers, and demo storyline inputs; support POCs and evaluations with guides and ROI frameworks.
• Use AI to accelerate drafts and variants while maintaining quality and accuracy.
