Job summary

Cloudflare, Inc. is seeking a Customer Security Compliance Specialist in Austin, TX or New York City to help document and communicate security controls for customers.

You will lead AI-assisted questionnaire responses, support security audits, and coordinate with Sales, Legal, and Product teams to demonstrate Cloudflare’s security posture. You will build with our in-house AI platforms, curate regulatory knowledge, and contribute to public security content and the Trust Portal.

Qualifications

• 510 years of experience in security compliance, GRC, audit management, or customer-facing security assurance.
• Hands-on building with AI workflows and internal tooling.
• Solid understanding of PCI DSS, ISO 27001, SOC 2, and NIST SP 800-53.
• Strong written communication; ability to translate complex concepts for customers.
• Comfortable presenting to external customers, Sales, and Legal teams.
• Cross-functionally partner across teams to drive projects.
• Familiarity with data structures, markdown, APIs, or scripting to prototype solutions.
• Bonus points for cloud/network engineering exposure or GDPR/CCPA knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Fill out complex customer security questionnaires, RFPs, and assessments using AI-generated drafts with human validation.
• Engage enterprise customers on security topics and assist in contract negotiations.
• Coordinate on-site and virtual customer audits, guiding through security controls and evidence.
• Build and iterate on in-house AI workflows to automate questionnaire triage and evidence retrieval.
• Curate authoritative knowledge repositories for SOC 2, PCI DSS, ISO 27001, and global regulations.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Engineering to mature the Trust Portal and self-service resources.
• Research, write, and maintain public security content and mappings with evolving products.
