Job summary

Cloudflare seeks an experienced security compliance professional to join the Customer Compliance Team in Austin. You will handle complex security questionnaires (RFPs) and engage directly with enterprise customers on security topics, while coordinating audits and building AI-driven workflows to streamline evidence retrieval.

You will also curate authoritative security data, author public content, and contribute to a growing Trust Portal.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in security compliance, GRC, technical audit management, IT risk consulting, or customer-facing security assurance.
• Demonstrated ability to build with AI: hands-on builder mindset with experience configuring AI workflows or retrieval-augmented generation concepts.
• Control frameworks: PCI DSS, ISO 27001, SOC 2, and NIST SP 800-53.
• Technical writing & translation: translate complex networking, infrastructure, and cryptographic concepts into clear customer responses and white papers.
• Customer-facing communication: comfortable presenting to external customers, sales, and legal counsel.
• Cross-functional leadership: partner across Sales, Product, Legal, and Platform/AI Engineering teams.
• Technical curiosity: familiarity with data structures, markdown, APIs, or scripting (Python, SQL or shell) to prototype solutions.
• Bonus: cloud/network engineering experience, GDPR/CCPA, or automated metrics.

Responsibilities

• Security Questionnaires & RFPs: fill out complex questionnaires and RFPs using AI workflows with human-in-the-loop validation.
• Engage with Customers on Security Topics: act as a trusted security advisor with enterprise customers.
• Facilitate Customer Audits: host and coordinate on-site and virtual audits, guiding through controls and evidence.
• Build with In-House AI Tools: configure and iterate on internal AI platforms to automate triage and evidence retrieval.
• Curate AI-Ready Ground Truth Data: maintain repositories for SOC 2, PCI DSS, ISO 27001, and global security data.
• Public Enablement & Trust Portal: collaborate to mature Trust Portal and self-service resources.
• Author Public Security Content: write and maintain white papers and security blogs.
