Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a Software Engineer in Product Security to help develop and deploy security tooling across our global, AI-native platform. You will build scalable applications, APIs, and frameworks enabling engineers to safeguard a complex production environment.

Collaborate with security teams to drive tooling strategy and ensure robust security postures across multiple clouds. You will contribute to SRE, CI/CD, and data-store operations while leveraging Generative AI to improve security

Qualifications

• Experience in a Software Engineering role with event-driven systems and data ingestion pipelines.
• Proficiency in Golang, Python, React, Angular, and/or TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD, containers, cryptographic signing, and OSS dependencies.
• Experience with data engineering and datastore/queue systems (OpenSearch, Valkey, Postgres, Kafka, SQS).
• End-to-end SDLC management with stakeholder engagement.
• Experience with Generative AI and building services leveraging LLMs.
• Familiarity with configuration/orchestration tools such as Ansible, Chef, Salt, or Puppet.
• Background in Product Security or SaaS security is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Contribute on a global software engineering team in Product Security, building scalable security tooling.
• Design and implement automation tools for security use cases across a multi-cloud production environment.
• Partner with Product Security teams to develop tooling strategy through risk assessments and deep architecture reviews.
• Own SRE excellence, CI/CD, and datastore operations, with monitoring and incident response processes.
