Job summary

You will build trusted relationships with business leaders, advise on resourcing decisions, and drive continuous improvement through AI and supporting technologies to enhance planning, reporting and decision-making.

Qualifications

• Direct Resource Management experience within a large, complex organisation with deployment, capacity planning and forecasting.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with senior leaders and influence decisions.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret resource data, utilisation and budgets and recommend practical solutions.
• Hands-on leadership, coaching and ownership with the ability to balance autonomy and support.
• Curiosity for AI and emerging technologies, with willingness to test and adopt practical improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead RM planning, scheduling and deployment of practitioners, balancing delivery and development opportunities.
• Build trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels and advise on resourcing decisions.
• Own the financial forecast, identify risks against plan and drive actions to improve performance.
• Coach colleagues, provide hands-on support during peak periods, and promote technology-enabled improvements.
• Oversee capacity, demand and commercial outcomes and ensure delivery follows policies.
