Job summary

Baker Tilly US is seeking a Resource Management Deployment Manager to support onboarding and transitions across the Consulting service line. This role coordinates staffing, deployment, and workforce planning with practice leaders and stakeholders to ensure the right talent is matched to projects on time.

The position emphasizes proactive visibility into pipeline demand, onboarding execution, and efficient resource utilization to drive client delivery outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 9 years of relevant experience.
• 5+ years of related experience in a professional services firm.
• Desire to learn the operations of a professional services firm.
• Ability to work independently and in a team across all levels.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Integrity and ability to handle confidential matters with discretion.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage resource management process for assigned population.
• Facilitate scheduling of resources to client assignments based on timing, travel, levels, skills.
• Drive scheduling to balance capacity with needs and maximize utilization.
• Forecast hours, track utilization, and monitor headcount.
• Facilitate weekly meetings with Managers and Partners and provide updates.
• Maintain staff profiles and schedules in the database; update as needed.
• Generate and analyze resource management reports and forecasts.
• Monitor chargeable hours, overtime, and travel distribution.
• Collaborate across Firm functions and coordinate with HR and recruiting on staffing.
• Participate in performance calibration meetings for staff.
