Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 9 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• 5+ years of related experience required, preferably within a professional services firm.
• Desire to learn about the operations of a professional services firm.
• Interest in connecting with others and helping drive forward the strategic vision of resource management.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team across all levels of the Firm.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute resource management process for assigned population.
• Facilitate scheduling of resources to client assignments based on timing, travel, levels, skills, etc.
• Drive scheduling to balance capacity with open needs and maximize utilization and profitability.
• Forecast hours, track utilization, and monitor headcount with scheduling tools.
• Hold weekly meetings with Managers and Partners, providing updates.
• Maintain staff profiles and schedules in the scheduling database.
• Generate and analyze resource management reports and variance data.
• Monitor chargeable hours, overtime, and travel to ensure fair distribution.
• Build relationships with client-serving personnel at all levels.
• Understand staff skills, experiences, and career goals for optimal assignments.
• Communicate with Managers, Partners, and industry leaders to optimize utilization.
• Resolve conflicting assignments and flag staff availability for staffing.
• Answer scheduling questions and escalate when needed.
• Collaborate across Firm functions and with other business units.
• Support strategic resource management projects and onboarding/talent coordination.
• Coordinate with HR and recruiting for campus and experienced hires, including interns.
• Participate in performance calibration meetings for professional staff.
